Child Safety Standards

Breathe & Be Creative Network — Last updated: March 2026

Breathe & Be is committed to protecting children and preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) on our platform. These standards apply to our mobile and web applications.

1. Prohibition of CSAE

Breathe & Be strictly prohibits:

  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form
  • Content or behavior that sexually exploits, abuses, or endangers minors
  • Grooming, sextortion, trafficking, or any form of child sexual exploitation

Zero Tolerance Policy: Any violation of these prohibitions will result in immediate account termination and reporting to law enforcement authorities.

2. Enforcement

When we obtain actual knowledge of CSAM or CSAE-related content or behavior, we:

  • Remove the content immediately upon detection
  • Suspend or terminate the accounts involved without warning
  • Report to relevant authorities (e.g., NCMEC in the United States, national hotlines in other jurisdictions) as required by law
  • Preserve evidence for law enforcement investigations
  • Implement additional safeguards to prevent similar violations

Our moderation team is trained to identify and handle CSAE-related content with the utmost priority and sensitivity.

3. In-App Reporting

Users can report child safety concerns directly in the app through multiple channels:

  • Report options available on posts, comments, profiles, and messages
  • Settings → Privacy & Security → Contact Support for confidential reporting
  • Help Center → Safety & Privacy for comprehensive safety resources

How to Report:

  1. Tap the three-dot menu (⋯) on any content
  2. Select "Report"
  3. Choose "Child Safety Concern"
  4. Provide any additional details
  5. Submit the report

All reports are reviewed by trained moderators and handled with strict confidentiality. Reports can be made anonymously.

4. Legal Compliance

Breathe & Be complies with applicable child safety laws and regulations, including:

  • CyberTipline Reports: Confirmed CSAM is reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) in the United States
  • International Reporting: Reports to relevant regional and national authorities (e.g., INHOPE hotlines, IWF in the UK)
  • Law Enforcement Cooperation: Full cooperation with law enforcement investigations
  • Data Retention: Evidence is preserved according to legal requirements
  • Regular Audits: Periodic review of our child safety practices and policies

We maintain partnerships with child safety organizations and continuously update our policies to reflect best practices in the industry.

Breathe & Be implements multiple layers of protection:

  • Age Verification: Users must be 18 years or older to create an account
  • Content Moderation: AI-powered and human review of uploaded content
